Contact form
In relation to the “Project Enquiry” form on the “Contact” page:
- When you submit an enquiry you choose to submit various pieces of information, such as your contact details (e.g. your name and email address) and information about your project. This data is necessary in order for us to get in touch with you to further discuss your enquiry. Only Edinburgh Genomics staff can access the information you submit.
- We receive the enquiries to our email address, and this is where the data remains unless you contact us and ask us to remove it. The data are not shared with any third-party entities.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is: your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting genomics@ed.ac.uk.

If you submit a “Project Enquiry” form on the “Contact” page, the information you submit may be retained indefinitely. This is so we can use the information to best assist you with your enquiry.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Edinburgh Genomics correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Edinburgh Genomics to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
