Profile: Dr. Helen Gunter

Dr. Helen Gunter joined Edinburgh Genomics in 2014, bringing 8 years of experience using high throughput transcriptomics techniques. As the facility’s Project Manager, Helen manages projects throughout their lifecycle, from experimental design to data delivery, keeping the lines of communication open throughout this process. She obtained her PhD in Molecular Zoology from the University of Queensland in Australia. She held a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the University of Queensland, and a Zukunftskolleg Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Konstanz in Germany. Her diverse research experience spans vertebrate and invertebrate models of evolution and development, in addition to human epigenetics.
